Liquid Metal
The great GT cars of the ’60s looked as though they’d been poured into shape. A Shelby Daytona or Ferrari 250 GTO could make you weak at the knees before anyone mentioned the engine. Even parked, they seemed impatient.
Look closer, though, and the romance gets interrupted. An air intake cuts into a sweeping surface. A graceful tail ends rather abruptly. Just when the bodywork was getting carried away, an engineer had something to say. Those practical demands gave the beauty its edge. You could fall for the shape and still admire the thinking behind it.
That was the starting point for OpenSpec™ Pebble. We wanted to capture the feeling of liquid metal, letting smooth, flowing surfaces meet the precise mechanical details of a working keypiece. The curves draw you in. The details give your eye somewhere to linger.
