Period Correct has long admired Formawerx for its precision in design and its approach to reimagining familiar automotive objects. For our collaboration, we wanted to create something lasting: an everyday object designed not simply to endure, but to become better with age.
For Period Correct founder Bryan Calvero, the KeyClock began with a personal memory of the leather pouch his father carried his keys in. Simple and functional, years of daily use gave it a character entirely its own. That memory became the foundation for our interpretation: an object that carries more than a key, gradually taking on the story of the places it goes and the hands that carry it.
Handcrafted in Los Angeles from full grain leather, the KeyClock is designed to house a Formawerx keypiece, OEM key, or modern key fob. Its open sided construction provides immediate access, while the includedTitanium Cordlock keeps the key securely in place.
Each piece is finished with individually hand paintedPeriod Correct P.C. detailing, making subtle variations part of its character.

COMPATIBILITY
The leather KeyCloak is compatible with all Formawerx Keypieces, as well as OEM factory keys. The cloak will also fit with most electronic key fobs.
